Theatrical Techniques
The Theatrical Techniques module is conceived in order to ease the student's communication in public by means of theatrical methods, in general, and particularly by means of theatrical art techniques and excercises. Presence and communication in public circumstances are two fundamental elements – if well prepared and practiced – in achieving any speaker's goal of influencing the attitude of those who see and listen to him/her. Preparation with the help of this module offers the possibility of improving one's performance regarding one's own public presence and the "stage" communication abilities.
This module will also provide elements of technique regarding "the Role" assumed by the speaker in public. The exercises that accompany the process of preparing "the role" involve both the physical component, of gesticulatory and body language on the whole, as well as the performance in the act of communication.
