...of the actor’s experiences
Marcel Foca:
Why do you want to do this Marcel? So I’ll feel well and be glad!
And then an avalanche of suggestions crushed me, made me small, made me sense new limits which I didn’t know I had. The thoughts were sombre. Even downright dark, paired with giving up. Yet at one point I received a different suggestion: Respect your character! In that moment my thoughts from the start came back to me, and my wishes were made clear. It centered me and gave me renewed direction. What followed falls within that category of events that mark you forever: I found out that emotional change can happen. Now I feel well and I am glad!
Iuliana Stan:
To act is as natural to be. You’re just someone else you have to get used to and learn a new “normal”. It is however a real revelation when you realize that you can be whomever you want to be. But it is magical to be able to be YOU forever and all the way.
Dan Damian:
Title: Along the line of “If love is great, it doesn’t matter that they’re of the same gender”
Body: Conjugal problems, Paris’s character (the son of Priam and Hecuba), the author’s description: “A peasant as handsome as Adonis, thin, fair haired…” My character, Paris, came out just like me: a little older, bald (but also with a belly), other than that… it was lovely playing with the children from E4, to find wonderful things in each of them, which I might not have otherwise found out in a million years!
Conclusion: I was (a) happy (Romanian).
P.S. At the audience’s request, we shall play again. Keep in touch!
