PhD in Philology, 1999 Research scholarships in Romania and abroad: scholarship granted by the New Europe College Bucharest (1997-1998), and Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin
(2001), and guest professor at the Romanistik Institut in Vienna (first semester, 2002).
In 2005 scholarship granted by Landis & Gyr (Zug, Switzerland).
Professional Experience
In the following fields: education, literary and editorial works.
Publishes literary criticism, essays, various articles in literary magazines (România Liberă, Dilema, Dilema Veche, Vineri, etc): between 30-50 articles
published annually, beginning with 1993.
Responsible with the literary criticism section at România Literară, since 1993. At NEC: takes part in the research group studying the 17th century thought.
Initiates and
is responsible for the ”Cartea de pe Noptieră” series at the Humanitas Publishing House (over 100 titles): the selection, presentation on the fourth cover, series’ coordinator.
Presently: Lecturer Doctor at the
Faculty of Letters in Bucharest, editor at România Literară, and coordinator of the ”Cartea de pe Noptieră” series at the Humanitas Publishing House.
